  6.      This is  a "PreviewWare"  version of Class.  Class is a screen transfer
  7.      program designed for an educational environment.  To  try this program,
  8.      down-load 3 files: Class.exe and Student.com and Clas$Hlp.hlp.  After a
  9.      shell has been loaded on any workstation, run  the Student.com program.
  10.      This is a terminate-and-stay-resident program which will take less than
  11.      5K of workstation memory.  Student  can  be  included  as  part  of the
  12.      AUTOEXEC.BAT file  as long  as it  is executed AFTER the shell has been
  13.      executed.  Student should be run on all workstations which  the teacher
  14.      wishes to monitor.

  16.      The Class.exe  program requires  ANW v2.0  or above because of the need
  17.      for SYS$MSG.DAT file in sys:public.  If your version of NetWare is 2.0 or
  18.      above this file was placed on the file server at install time.  Once Class
  19.      has come-up, the F1 key will  give context-sensitive  help information.
  20.      This should be enough to get you going.

  22.      This free version will only allow the teacher to see 2 students while the
  23.      real version of Class will allow the teacher to select from 100 students.
  24.      The real  version of Class will also allow the teacher to remotely send
  25.      keystrokes to the student.  This feature, along with the ability to change
  26.      current file servers has been omitted in this free version.

  28.      The real version of Class sell for $49.95 and can be received by sending a
  29.      check or money order to Lan  Fan  Technologies  at  the  above address.
  30.      Class is not copy protected and carries an Internet License.

  32.      There are limitations to the Class program.  First of all, it assumes the
  33.      existence of a high-speed LAN.  It won't  work too  well over  an async
  34.      1200 baud line.  Secondly, it currently won't handle graphics data.  If
  35.      this is crucial for your application,  let Lan Fan Technologies know and
  36.      we might be persuaded to add this feature.  Thirdly, the broadcast mode
  37.      won't work over a bridge. This is a NetWare restriction which should be
  38.      fixed  when  NetWare  v2.1  is  released.  Also, a workstation which is
  39.      receiving broadcast information from one teacher will not be able to give
  40.      screen information to another teacher.

  42.      Even though these limitations exist,  Class is on of the only applications
  43.      available today which uses the Novell IPX communication services.  This
  44.      means that  Class not  only can work well over the InterNet (unlike any
  45.      NetBios program) but it's communications speed can be up to 8 time that
  46.      of a  NetBios application.  The windowing interface will allow any user
  47.      familiar with  NetWare  utilities  (like  syscon)  to  immediately feel
  48.      comfortable with Class!
